Our Reservation through Booking.com did not sync up with the Resort's reservation system so the staff at the front desk had to cancel our previous Booking.com reservation and manually enter a new reservation. "Sal" did a great job with that, he upgraded us to a King Bed Room which had a tub to soak in and he comp'd our parking for the duration of the stay. We also reserved a cabana at the Main Pool a little over a month before our stay. Brittney made sure that all our needs were taken care of and even came by the pool to check on us to make sure everything was up to par. We also rented Wave Runners via Action Sports and the staff there ensured that we were taken care of. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, Vessel Restaurant. The food was good. The service was a little slow but they were also swamped from the looks of it. Our server didn't charge us for our appetizer because the kitchen was running so slow with our order.

Love the staff, location and overall vibe of this property. The court yard was a hit with our 11year old son who wanted to play ping pong the whole time. The poolside bar was great as well. We rent a small boat and that's a nice continent location off dock. Bikes riden around island was fun. The Vessel resturant is diffently 4+ stars ! We had such a relaxing stay that we pick this over Coronado for future trips.

Upon arrival I was greeted by friendly valet. was promptly greeted at front desk and Shannan was every so friendly. Room was not ready as we arrived early. I was able to check in, given access to facilities and parking. When room was ready received a text and given key to room. Family and Adult pools. Bar area by family pool was great. Food is wonderful and great portions. Stayed in newly renovated room so nice

The location was perfect for our getaway. Loved the marina view from our private balcony and the firepits. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. Enjoyed that the resort had everything we needed and we never felt rushed.

Absolutely adore the location!!! Kona Kai is a private sanctuary and I always feel rested and refreshed by during my stay. The Spa is not to be missed… clean, serene, with excellent service!!!
